Accessory design

Enthesis is a metal carabiner developed for AMOSES.

Originally conceived as a fastening component for the UNDERLOCK bag, it was later released as a standalone accessory that can be attached to a belt, bag or garment.

Drawing inspiration from organic shapes and prehistoric fossils, the project combines a practical function with a sculptural silhouette.

From concept to object

I handled the entire design process for Enthesis, from the initial exploration of forms to 3D modelling and the development of its packaging.

The aim was to create an instantly recognisable object, distinct from the appearance of a conventional carabiner.

I developed an irregular, almost bone-like silhouette defined by projecting volumes and organic curves.

Working in 3D allowed me to explore these forms, refine their proportions and develop the object’s details before production.

An accessory in its own right

Initially designed to accompany the UNDERLOCK bag, Enthesis developed a strong enough visual identity to stand on its own.

Its metallic finish, distinctive volumes and unconventional form make it both a functional accessory and a graphic object.

I also designed its dedicated packaging, extending the product’s visual identity to its presentation.

From 3D model to finished product

The project resulted in a physical accessory manufactured from forged metal by a specialised partner factory.

An initial run of 200 pieces was released by AMOSES and sold out in approximately one month.

Enthesis represents a complete product design experience for me: developing an idea, shaping it in three dimensions, designing its presentation and seeing it become a commercial product.
