Mystery T-shirts

Packaging and graphic design
A T-shirt collection built around chance and rarity. Six graphic designs, six different probabilities, and a purchasing experience where the final design remains unknown until the package is opened.
Developed within the creative team at AMOSES, the project gave me the opportunity to take a leading role in the packaging design, while also creating and contributing to several graphics featured across the collection.

Turning a purchase into an experience
The concept originated with the founder of AMOSES: a collection where customers do not get to choose which design they receive.
Each T-shirt belongs to one of six rarity tiers, with probabilities ranging from 45% for the most common design to just 1% for the rarest.
This system introduces an element of play and anticipation into the purchasing experience. The appeal lies not only in the garment itself, but also in the uncertainty surrounding which version will arrive.

Giving the mystery a visual identity
My main contribution focused on designing the collection’s packaging.
The challenge was to create a sleeve that communicated the Mystery T-shirts concept while preserving the surprise of the product inside.
I worked on its graphic composition and the presentation of the different designs and rarity levels.
The packaging needed to bring the collection together visually, explain how the concept worked, and extend the experience through to the moment of unboxing.
It became an essential part of the project, rather than simply a container for the garment.

Six designs, one collaborative collection
The collection brings together six distinct graphic designs developed by the AMOSES creative team.
My contributions included the key-themed graphic and the mystery design, alongside selected elements featured in other pieces.
This collaborative process brought different visual approaches together under one shared concept: rarity.
The graphics were produced on heavyweight, 240 gsm oversized cotton T-shirts using digital printing.
From launch to sell-out
The initial production run consisted of 1,500 T-shirts.
More than 700 pieces were sold during the first weekend. The collection subsequently sold out and was later restocked.
Beyond its commercial performance, the project offered a complete experience of graphic design within fashion, spanning garment graphics, packaging and the presentation of a collection brought to market.
